In an interview, Marc says: “Staff, wearing these AR headsets, will only need to glance over items to receive assembly instructions. Questions will be asked via voice control and answered automatically on the headset’s screen, while technical drawings will be displayed to provide additional insight,” Furthermore, staff members will be able to see the videos of the previous successful assemblies in AR, so they will be able to use these videos as guidance during assembly. Also, repairs will be made really swiftly thanks to AR. Employees, using their AR headsets, will just look at the items that needs repairing and the AR will identify the problem. AR system will automatically highlight the problems, and required repair instructions and tools for the job will be generated on AR, so the employees can shift to actual repairing phase immediately.
This is just one example to illustrate how the AR technology can be used in many industries(this technology probably will shape the industries along with it). It seems that companies which rapidly adapt to technologies like these will be the new great companies of the future.
