Exporting to Egypt
Egypt is a developing country located at the intersection of the African and Asian continents, with a large population of 102 million and a growing commercial structure. Being the third largest economy in Africa, Egypt generally chooses Asian and African countries for import-export transactions. The country, whose largest exporter is the United Arab Emirates (UAE), also significantly imports products from Turkey. Despite its large population, the number of online users is lower compared to European and Asian countries. In these times of increasing online use, companies have started to choose the Egyptian market for export. Let’s take a closer look at exporting to Egypt, which has some strict trade rules.

The e-commerce and e-export system, which helps these companies find a place in the market, is one of the crucial points that new exporters must pay attention to.

What Companies Export to Egypt?
Egypt, populated around the Nile River, is one of the world's important agricultural product providers. Apart from this, the country is rich in natural resources; it has oil, natural gas, and mineral resources. Since these resources are not sufficient for the country’s population, Egypt remains dependent on foreign countries for resource usage. Various products from many sectors enter Egypt, which is not limited by underground resources, from Turkey.
When the exporting firms from our country are classified by sectors, the most sent products are mineral fuels and oils, iron-steel, machinery-mechanical parts, and automotive. Firms aiming to export should benefit from these sectors in the most profitable way by conducting accurate product and target market analysis. In our country, where the export of machinery parts has developed, it is observed that companies exporting in this direction have risen in the Egyptian market.
