What is Super Incentive?

The super incentive is also known as a project-based incentive system. As can be understood from its name, super incentive can be described as a support system that includes promises such as meeting the needs related to the country's current situation or critical situations that may be encountered in the future, promoting supply security, reducing dependency on foreign countries and the problems that may arise due to this dependency, and achieving technological transformation.

Within the scope of this system; investments decided to be supported under the "Technology-Oriented Industry Move Program" will be granted support of 50,000,000₺, while investments outside of this will receive support of 500,000,000₺. Thanks to this system, more than 134,000 people will be able to be employed. Investments are supported within the framework of laws and decision provisions. At the same time, super incentives include tax supports, employment incentives, financing supports, incentives related to investment locations, and other supports.

The process operates as follows; applications are collected by the Ministry of Industry and Technology through an invitation or announcement system, the applications are evaluated by the ministry to identify individuals who can benefit from the incentive, the presidential decision with the nature of the support decision for applications decided to be supported is provided, and finally, a support certificate is issued for the projects decided to be supported by the ministry.

Who Can Benefit from the Super Incentive?

Individuals can also benefit from similar incentives. In this case, individuals, companies, capital companies and individual companies, ordinary partnership companies or joint ventures, cooperatives, limited liability cooperatives, fully liable cooperatives and joint cooperatives, unions, associations, foundations, public institutions and organizations, professional organizations with public status, municipalities, metropolitan municipalities, and municipalities along with their affiliated enterprises can be issued investment incentive certificates on behalf of foreign companies headquartered outside of Turkey. Additionally, direct foreign capital investments, foreign capital companies, and companies established in Turkey by foreign nationals can also be eligible to receive investment incentive certificates for the investment projects they plan to implement within the country.

New Incentive Package 2023

As of 2023, according to the incentive plans that have been adopted, enacted, and aimed to be enacted, individuals mentioned above, fulfilling the necessary conditions, will be able to benefit from the new incentive packages. The new incentive packages include:

How to Apply for the Super Incentive?

To obtain any investment incentive certificate, an application must be made to the Ministry of Industry and Technology. After the necessary examinations by the ministry, individuals and institutions that can benefit from the incentive are identified. Especially in the preparation of application documents, it is recommended to work with experts to avoid possible mistakes. With digitization, these types of applications are now made online. It has become quite easy to apply for an incentive certificate for any investment through the Electronic Incentive Application and Foreign Capital Information System called E-TUYS, and the investment incentive certificate is also obtained electronically through this system. Required and requested documents must be submitted through websites provided in PDF format. Nowadays, Investment Incentive Certificates are only organized and used in electronic form.
